RecallQ was co-founded in 2026 after we kept hearing the same complaint from practice owners: "We know who's overdue. We just can't get to them."
We spent months talking to practice owners across dental, physio, and optometry. The same story everywhere: the patient data was sitting unused in a perfectly good PMS, revenue quietly leaking out the back door.
Existing tools didn't solve it. US platforms without AU compliance. Generic SMS tools requiring technical setup. Practice management software that tracks recalls but never sends them.
So we built a master platform with sub-brands. A dental recall isn't a physio review isn't an optometry check. The language, timing, and context all differ. One engine, three voices.
Australian matters. Privacy Act, Spam Act, AHPRA, health rebate cycles, AU SMS gateways. You can't retrofit a US product for this — you have to build it here, from scratch, with healthcare compliance as the foundation.

We serve independent Australian health practices — not hospitals, chains, or enterprise groups.
Compliance is not a feature.
It's the floor. Everything we ship is built to meet the Privacy Act and the Spam Act.
ROI or nothing.
We back Pro with a 90-day guarantee — recover 10+ lapsed patients or we refund your first 90 days.
Recovered = a booking your team confirms in RecallQ that came from a recall (shown on your ROI report as “Booked by your team”); bookings we only infer from a reply are shown but not counted. If fewer than 10 patients are recovered in your first 90 days, and in that time you imported at least 200 patients, completed onboarding, and kept your patient list and at least one recall rule active, we refund the fees you paid for those 90 days. Ask within 14 days of the 90 days ending; we assess each request manually against your ROI report. Full terms: Terms clause 4.9.
What RecallQ is, and is not
RecallQ is patient recall software. A practice uploads a CSV export from its practice management system. RecallQ sends recall messages by SMS or email on rules the practice sets, handles SMS replies and opt-outs, and reports the bookings the practice's team confirms. Every SMS names the practice and ends with “Reply STOP to opt out”, and every recall email carries the practice's name, ABN, address and an unsubscribe link.
- It does not connect live to practice software. Bookings are made in the practice's own software, and the time is recorded in RecallQ.
- It is not the practice's clinical or practice-management record of truth (Terms clause 3.7).
- It does not provide clinical, legal or compliance advice.
- The practice stays responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each patient and for the content of its messages (Terms clauses 3.1, 3.4 and 9.2).
How patient data is handled
The main patient database is in Sydney, Australia. Application servers run in Singapore and handle patient information in transit only. Some sub-processors operate overseas and are listed at https://www.recallq.com.au/legal/#sub-processors.

Who RecallQ is for
RecallQ is built for dental, physiotherapy and optometry practices in Australia. The five ready-made message templates and the consent confirmation at import are written for dental care; the templates can be edited, and any practice can start from a blank message.
Each patient row in the CSV needs a first and last name, a mobile or email, and a recall due date or last visit date. Sign-up is self-serve, and an account can be created without a card. Recall messages start once a plan and payment details are added at checkout.
